Looking at these pictures is a fantastic reminder that we DO manage to have fun despite drowning in work. We are not really sure how we did it, but we did get away from our computers and offices and ... look what happened!
We have a babysitter now, which is potentially life changing. For our first US American date in 12 (!!) months, we went all out: to Top of the Hub, one of Boston's prime nightlife locations. Wow!
This is where we are going: the 52nd floor of the Prudential Tower.
Kicking off the night with a cocktail at the bar while we are waiting for our table.
And here we go: The marvelous view from our table.
We might or might not have told the waiter that it was our wedding anniversary (to get a table by the window) ... which resulted in a sweet little surprise. (Ooops.)
It is no exaggeration to say that this was our best date night so far. Thank you for organizing it, Marko!
The next day we were woken up by two very chipper kids. They seemed to have truly enjoyed their babysitter.

At the playground ...
we enjoyed another (very different view) of the Prudential Tower.
We enjoyed the sunset in the park...
... and the supermoon from our front yard.
Samu read us a bedtime story and even praised us for listening well. Good night!
This Saturday - after another crazy work week - we spent the evening with our favorite French friends from Providence Karyn, Nico & kids. Before that, we bought some costumes - just because.
The children, like the parents, are perfect together.
A special treat for dessert: Fireplace marshmallows.
Thank you, dear friends, for a wonderful evening! Thank you, Marko, for an amazing meal!
