Fall has been so good to us! Temperature-wise most of last week was in the 20s, with some days feeling like summer more than fall.
In daycare, kids are doing fall art and fall excursions.
BU looks lovely in the golden fall sun.
Samu has taken up his own version of acrobatics/break-dancing.
Whereas Sofia prefers pony rides ;-)
While Marko was giving a talk at Finn Fest in Buffalo, the rest of the family enjoyed a long weekend at home. Or rather, a weekend outside. Except for meals we did spend almost every minute outside. One reason was our brand-new kite. Excellent entertainment and exercise for all generations!
Samu wanted to go on a Scavenger Hunt, so we did. He even made a list of what to collect: 5 acorns, 3 leaves, 5 rocks.
We found a deserted soccer ball - and the children fond their love for soccer. Marko would have been proud.
Back at home we painted our treasures.
Isi (American spelling) was missed!
Our street.
Another day, another playground, another soccer game.
Guess who won.
After that, we played more ball and explored the shore by the Charles River next to our house.
A few seconds before getting wet.
Have a great week!
