JENNA & GEORGE

Good morning! (This is the view down from our bedroom window onto our car window.) After New Year's, we have slowly begun to transition back to our everyday routine.
Marko has taken up boxing again.

Samu and Sofia have a new reading corner.
And the boys have been cooking and baking a lot.
Samu surprises us daily with his school work. He can read and write simple words, add and subtract, and draw graphs.

On Thursday, Jenna came to Boston to join Hanna for a talk at Harvard. After diligent preparations ...
they headed across the bridge to the Ivy League campus.

The doctoral students seemed very interested in heritage languages and what you can do with them as an educational researcher.
 We did it!

 Time to celebrate!

The next day, Hanna showed Jenna around BU and downtown Boston.

 Faneuil Hall
 The Holocaust Memorial

The next day, George arrived as well, so the reunion was complete. After some morning activities ...

 we strolled around the harbor.

We witnessed a reenactment of the Boston Tea Party.
And we ended up at the Barking Crab, one of our favorite restaurants.

Strolling home, we enjoyed some night time views of the city.

And then we did what we have always done: Sit and chat until we can't keep our eyes open anymore.

It was great to have you, Jenna and George! Thank you so much for visiting!!
