It's hard to believe, but our summer in the US is coming to a close. We are leaving for Europe on Wednesday! We have a ton of work to do before that, but we are still able to enjoy some relaxing moments every now and then.
If in any way possible, we eat outside.
And yes, also potty training is happening outside.
Sweet Samu has been a huge help around the garden. It's getting to a point where we have to make up tasks for him so he can keep "helping".
We visit beaches at least once a week. This one is Wollaston Beach in Quincy, where we spent last Sunday.
Samu swam in the ocean without assistance for the first time. Look at all this excitement!
Sunset with views of the Boston skyline.
On Wednesday night we went to a kids' concert at the Endicott Estate in Dedham. We are slowly discovering that Dedham has a pretty active family/parent scene.
Samu and Sofia did not care too much about the music. They just loved hanging out with each other and spent the whole evening running around holding hands.

Another beautiful sunset.
At work, things have been going very well for Marko. Hanna is struggling to finish some important projects and tasks before the trip, but her new office is a good comfort.
Once the black file cabinet has been removed, there will be space for a reading corner.
This weekend was partly beautiful and summerly, so we spent Midsummer/Juhannus in our backyard - a great change of scenery between hours of packing and cleaning we have to do. (We are subletting our house for the summer, so we have to clean and empty most of it.)
Hauskaa Juhannusta! Happy Midsummer!
Rock, peace, and love! Graffiti artists at work.
The kids spend a lot of time in water - either in our pool, the sea, a lake, or the bathtub.
Happy (American) Father's Day, Marko! Nothing in our family would work without you. Nothing would be good without you.
Father's Day games in the rain.
Two more days of work! See you soon, families! We can't wait.
