BU is on spring break, and although/because we have a ton of work to do, we decided to take two days off and spend them on Cape Cod.
Ready to go! Our kids are enthusiastic travelers.
First stop: Provincetown. The weather at the extreme tip of the cape was wonderfully mild. Perfect for a stroll at the beach.
Ducks!
One of the friendliest cities we've ever walked through. We felt truly welcome.
After a few hours in Provincetown, we drove back to Hyannis and checked into our hotel.
Still one of the kids' favorite things in the world: Running along hotel hallways.
Big plus: Not having to cook or clean the kitchen. Thank you, family-friendly restaurants!
After a fantastic evening of swimming in a heated and colorfully lit outdoor pool and a great kid-friendly indoor wave pool, we slept very well. Day 2 was dedicated to another beach trip: destination Craigsville Beach.
Tired and happy, we left the Cape homeward bound.
And we returned back to spring! Welcome, warmth and sunshine!

More good news: Our car is finally fixed after an accident last week. And they even cleaned it! :-)
Happy spring (break) everyone!
