Here are some more pictures from the first two weeks of our new life (see below).
Hanna's first day at work.
Hanna's new office. The smaller the space the greater the thoughts? We hope so!
We are grateful for another phase of summer. Although it's been almost too hot the past few days, we have certainly enjoyed being outside every day. And the kids all of a sudden love their sunglasses. Who knew...
Thank you to our predecessors for the pool and the grill!
Marko found this statue behind our maple tree. We like it and moved it to a better place.
First day of daycare!
And the reward for surviving it.
Hanna's second day at work.
Samu's new favorite spot.
"I want to be like Isi!"
Ready for school - the daughter.
Ready for school - the mother.
The view from campus over the city and the Charles River (which also runs by our house).
The president of the university welcoming all new faculty.
The welcome reception at the Provost's house.
And greetings from Austria. Danke!!!
As you can see, we are doing fine. That doesn't mean we are not completely exhausted every evening. But we are slowly starting to find our way around the city, we have a cosy home, at least three great organic supermarkets very close by, offices and colleagues we like (so far), a very nice pediatrician for the kids close by, and a daycare that we are carefully optimistic about. That's pretty good for two weeks, we think.
