NORMALCY

We've had a pretty normal week - and we enjoyed it a lot. Our daily routine is exciting enough, so that we barely feel the need of additional adventures (right now). Here are some highlights of our normal life, in no particular order and quite disjointed manner. Enjoy!

Sofia is becoming more and more extrovert. Nothing excites her more than people who talk to her. This is usually her response:
The second best thing are dangling toys, which she has learned to grab, hit, and pull.
Daytime naps have been a bit tricky lately. Apparently, daytime hours are just too exciting to be missed. Thankfully, nights are fine.
Our kids love Jenna and George!

We've had to say good-bye to many friends lately: LeeAnne and Tom + kids, who moved to France, Chris and Lisa, who moved to Atlanta, Erica and Virgile + kids, who moved to Chicago, Matthew, who moved to Lacrosse ... and our dear Finnish friends Noora, Jussi and Kappe, who went back to Suomi. We miss you all!

Both our kids' favorite napping position...
The best neighbors are the ones who bring a projector. For one night, we turned our living room into a movie theater. What a treat! We're going to do that again!

"Samu, please let Sofia sleep." - "Okay."

For rainy autumn days, Samu got a rain jacket and rubber boots, which he loves to wear all day.

Except for this weekend, it has been beautiful outside though.

What a wonderful dress! Kiitos Mummille!

By the time Friday afternoon comes around, we're usually quite exhausted,
...but that's when the fun only starts! All in all, life is good. Exhausting but good exhausting.
