HELSINKI

We made it to the other side of the big pond. The trip was much easier than expected. Here are some highlights.

Welcome to Finland!

First stop: Helsinki. We were so excited to meet our dear Swedish friends Martin and Marit and their two boys here. The last time we saw them was at our wedding, and we had not met their sons yet.

Out trip to Helsinki zoo was quite an adventure for all ages. We didn't see many animals, but there was a lot to do and see for us anyway. Samu's favorite: the gigantic sandbox.

Martin did that a lot in South Africa. Some things don't change. Thank God for that.
